Colson Baker, or Machine Gun Kelly, is known for his distinct way of singing. Baker was born in Houston Texas, U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. His parents, who were each missionaries took him on many trips during his early years. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unemployed while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker and his father along with their aunt, relocated from Denver to Denver. Baker suffered bullying from other youngsters in his community because of his poor living conditions. As he entered sixth grade, Baker was able to take up the art of rap. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989, in Texas. His songs are known for their ability to blend modern hip-hop and rock and alternative music. Baker released four mixtapes prior to signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. In late 2011, this Cleveland rapper became a star when he changed to self-releasing mixtapes and then signing with reputable label labels. Over the next few years, every single album of his was ranked at the top of the charts.
